Maximilien Robespierre was one of the leaders during the French Revolution. He was born on May 6th of the year 1758.He was one of the many great leaders during his time. Being a leader in the French Revolution meant that he was part of the public safety committee of France. He disagreed on the code of absolute monarchy over France. Even though they were able to overthrow King Louis XVI, France still did not obtain their freedom right away. It took many more years to come for them to obtain their freedom. They threaten France by telling them to let free King Louis XVI or they would invade France. They had to go through a time period call the Reign of Terror. He wanted to get ride of the idea of France's government from being an absolute monarchy.
